Theory - the toymaker and maestro are apart of the same pantheon as the trickster. As we know when the doctor meets the trickster in wedding of sarah jane (found in SJ adventures) he states he is part of the pantheon of discord. Now we now find out that toymaker and maestro are part of a pantheon and both of their powers end up causing some kind of discord. Plus it would fit with the timeline as when the trickster met the doctor the toymaker had already been defeated by 1st doctor and thanks to a throwaway line by maestro: "daddy was so mean...". We can call it a stretch that he trapped his kids and kept them back until 14 played that game with the salt bringing the old pantheon back starting with toymaker. Plus the person who drops ruby off at the church wears similar clothing to the trickster... any thoughts??

Very fine film, indeed--the cast was fantastic. The only distractor for me was that certain parts seemed improvised; I've always felt that's it's not quite possible to improvise scenes better than a script's meticulously crafted/scripted dialogue and blocking. That said, though, I was engrossed by the story and well-shot, well-acted film.

Loved this interview. The shots of Alia in utero were so authentic, I felt like I was watching a documentary through a laparoscope. Also, I can't wait to watch Zendaya's eventual directorial debut! She seems so thoughtful, and now we know that she has learned from the best.

Zendaya acting is terrible in Dune 2. She has better range when she was in Paul's dream. After we meet her in real world she either is 1. Angry Channi 2. RBF Channi and less than half a minute of romantic Channi.

I Watched All This Man's Movies, Legendary Director

It’s interesting. I am the same age as her and only know her from Death Proof which I saw in theaters (my favorite QT movie) and did anticipate The Thing which she was in but that movie was a let down and totally forgot about her until I found out she is married to Ewan McGregor (Trainspotting is one of my favorite UK movies and Mary even mentioned Fish Tank which is another good one). What’s cool tho is her appreciation for Sigourney Weaver and Alien. I could see her doing an Alien movie but Ridley ruined that franchise with Prometheus and Alien Covenant (using Katherine Waterston as a Ripley look a like). Mary would have been better. Plus, sure Mary would understand, the world is so different now.. it’s all streaming shows which I am not a fan of. Rediscovering Mary again tho has been compelling but Hollywood really needs a re-invention because, stateside, it’s become a joke. Barely anything original anymore. Hate to be the pessimist but better work in UK/Europe.

Infinity Pool was my favorite film of 2023, and it will be regarded as a classic. It's the most creative, most original concept I've seen in decades. The interviewer asks the absolute deepest questions.

Jinkx's performance was stunning, brave, and dare I say, life changing. Emmy award worthy even.

I actually felt bad for Abigail at the end. Like, yeah, she’s a bloodthirsty murderous monster, but she’s also a centuries-old woman trapped in a little girl’s body, created by a father that doesn’t love her and only sees her as a tool. But, yeah, she’s still a psychotic mass murderer. I wonder if she would stop it all (aside from the feeding to stay alive) if she could, like if she was “rescued” from her father, or if she enjoyed ripping people apart too much, which you definitely see in the movie.

Wes ball did a fantastic job with this film I hope he directs the next 2!
